“Growing up, this industry was really all I knew because of my family’s involvement in it,” Meny said. “As I got older and gained more experience, I learned not only the plumbing trade, but also what it takes to run a business.”

Over 25 years with SRMeny, that early exposure developed into a passion for both sides of the operation. Meny still finds satisfaction in the results of the trade, whether repairing an existing system or starting from scratch.

“There’s always a problem to solve,” he said. “Knowing that the work we do helps people and serves the community makes it even more rewarding.”

Increasingly, Meny's focus is also on helping the next generation find those same opportunities.

“I want to help them grow, learn the skills, and understand the importance of being able to help people when they have a problem,” he said.

His proudest accomplishment reflects both the family legacy he inherited and the future he's working to build. Meny has helped grow SRMeny to the point where his father can enjoy retirement knowing the company remains in good hands.

“That means a lot to me, because it shows how far we’ve come as a family and as a company,” he said.

Beyond the family business, Meny has served as Indiana state president and as Zone 3 director on the national board of directors, giving him opportunities to grow as a leader and give back to the industry.

Despite decades of experience, Meny doesn't pretend to have everything figured out.

“I’m still learning and figuring things out along the way,” he said, “but I’m proud of how successful things have been so far.”
