This inaugural nationwide program will recognize students at hundreds of SkillsUSA chapter high schools across the country for their dedication to pursue a career in residential wiring, building trades and renovations, HVAC or plumbing.

Pipelining, as it is known today, is the process of reconditioning the inside of a pipeline with an internal coating or casting to extend the remaining useful life of the piping asset. Pipe coating has been utilized in pressurized pipelines for more than 60 years.

The plumbing and mechanical industry is changing quickly, and the biggest catalyst of that change is technology. New products are coming to market, the Internet of Things is influencing product design, and connectivity is becoming less of a novelty and more of a commodity.
