For the ninth year in a row, David Weekley Homes has recognized Moen in its Partners of Choice Awards. The nation’s largest, privately held home builder gave Moen an “A” rating for outstanding service and presented the company with the award for this significant achievement at a ceremony on July 23.

“We’re honored to receive David Weekley Homes’ coveted ‘A’ rating for outstanding service,” said Kamlin Nedved, senior strategic account manager, Moen. “Our team of experienced sales professionals has their fingers constantly on the pulse of what our customers want and need, always striving to go above and beyond to exceed customers’ expectations. We are so thankful and appreciative that David Weekley Homes has recognized this commitment to our customers with its nationally acclaimed awards program.”

The award is the conclusion of the home builder’s industry leading “Supplier Evaluation Platform” in which nearly 1,000 David Weekley Homes’ team members evaluate their 200 suppliers on their performance during the past year. Each company’s numeric scores are averaged and then an alpha ranking – ranging from “A” to “F” – is assigned that relates the score to all national partners.

“We are very pleased to present our friends at Moen with our ‘A’ award for service. In achieving this award, they have proven to be a world-class National Trading Partner that complements our world-class brand,” said John Schiegg, director of supply chain services for David Weekley Homes. “Our evaluation process allows us to determine world-class performance across the many industries supporting the home building industry. Moen understands the challenges of our industry and is able to find solutions that continue to put the company at the top of our National Trading Partners list. Moen has continually exemplified our standards across the board, and we congratulate them on this well-deserved win.”

In order to facilitate complete transparency, David Weekley Homes designed their action-oriented survey to allow suppliers to review feedback to see where adjustments can be made to better serve partners and the Weekley team. Feedback to the Moen team this year, included: “They are responsive and knowledgeable;” “Our Sales Rep is great to work with;” and “Moen is very responsive to warranty calls.”
