What drew you into the industry?
This industry has a variety of career paths to choose from, and is full of constant innovation.
What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?
Knowing that you are taking part in helping protect the health of the nation is extremely rewarding. On top of that, the lifelong relationships I’ve developed over the years are truly invaluable.
What motivates you every day?
Professionally, my motivation comes from the opportunity to be representing an industry leading product in AB&I Foundry, Tyler Pipe and Anaco Husky and being a part of such a world class organization in McWane. Being able be an impact on construction project during the design phase all the way through ultimate final product is a privilege.
What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?
Our industry is a growing industry. There are a ton of opportunities to have a long, rewarding career.
What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?
I don’t think there is one particular instance that I can point to as my most proud moment, but rather I have a collection of moments and wins that makes me proud to be a part of the industry.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
My wife and I just had our first baby, Rhett Allen Shelly, and I was a pitcher for Mississippi State University. Hail State!
