How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?
I grew up in this industry, and have been around it my entire life. I left to pursue a career in television, then returned 10 years later. I’ve now been working full-time at Charles Chester Plumbing and Heating for the past 5 years.
What drew you into the industry?
My grandfather, Charlie Chester, and my father inspired me to join the industry. Watching them build a strong, reputable company that serves our community left a lasting impression on me.
What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?
Serving the community, helping individuals with their plumbing issues and finding the right solutions to meet their needs is the most rewarding part of my work.
What motivates you every day?
Working alongside my team and watching them succeed. I take pride in motivating and supporting them to become the best technicians in our area.
What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?
That we are a strong, essential industry that protects public health while providing vital services to individuals and communities.
What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?
Leading my crew and completing the largest construction project in Charles Chester Plumbing and Heating’s 63-year history.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I worked in reality television for over 10 years—and even directed two television shows.
