Why he’s PM’s Plumber of the Month: “He is an exceptional employee who is goal-oriented and customer-focused. Last year, Steve was called out to a Mr. Self’s residence; he had been without running water for three years due to pipes freezing and bursting. Upon arrival, Steve realized Mr. Self was a veteran and could not afford our services. Having compassion for one of our military veterans, Steve arranged for himself and several of his plumbing teammates to spend a Saturday afternoon helping the customer. Steve and his teammates re-piped Mr. Self’s entire mobile home, installed a new water heater and a new toilet, and repaired a toilet and faucet. All labor for this project was donated by Steve and his co-workers, and materials were donated by the company. Steve also continues to be a top revenue producer in our company each year and closed out 2017 at $356,000.” — Paul Gerbasi, plumbing manager, Service Professor
