2026 Next Gen All-Star: Sam Windsor
Building trust from the ground up

Sam Windsor may be early in his career, but in just over three years, he has learned the PHCP-PVF business from the ground up, built strong customer relationships and found success pursuing opportunities others considered unwinnable.
After finishing school, Windsor was looking for a job and followed in his family’s footsteps into the industry. At Delco Sales, he started in the warehouse, moved through inside sales and earned a promotion to outside sales in just five months.
“That kind of advancement reflects something you cannot teach: a genuine drive to learn the business from the ground up and prove himself at every level before moving to the next one,” said Sarah Linn, marketing manager at Delco.
What Windsor did not anticipate was just how rewarding, challenging, dynamic, and enjoyable the plumbing industry would prove to be. Something he wishes more people understood about it.
“It's filled with hardworking, knowledgeable, and unique personalities that make it unlike any other field,” Windsor said. “There are tremendous opportunities for career growth, relationship building, and professional development.”
And he’s embraced those opportunities. Some of his proudest moments include winning large projects and growing accounts that were previously considered unwinnable.
“In the field, Sam has taken on one of our most demanding territories, calling on sophisticated mechanical contractors across Southern California with the professionalism and accountability that those customers expect,” Linn said. “He is a relationship-first salesperson who understands that this industry runs on trust, and he has built it quickly.”
For Windsor, seeing persistence, relationship building, and teamwork payoff is one of the most rewarding parts of the job, and those successes give him confidence to keep pursuing new opportunities.
“What makes Sam a standout is not just what he has accomplished, but how he has gone about it,” said Linn. “He approaches every opportunity with intention, continues to grow his knowledge of the business, and carries himself with the kind of professionalism that reflects well on our firm and on the industry. Sam Windsor is exactly the kind of young professional this industry needs more of.”
Outside the industry, Windsor trades plumbing for another passion: Boston sports. The avid fan follows his favorite football, baseball, basketball, and hockey teams year-round.
"What makes Sam a standout is not just what he has accomplished, but how he has gone about it," Linn said. "He approaches every opportunity with intention, continues to grow his knowledge of the business, and carries himself with the kind of professionalism that reflects well on our firm and on the industry."
