American Pipe & Supply appoints Howe as CEO
John Howe
American Pipe & Supply, a Birmingham, Ala.-based supplier of PVF, plumbing and fire prevention supplies, appointed John Howe as its new CEO. Howe began work at American Pipe at the end of July, bringing more than 20 years of management experience to the company. His main focus will be on developing personnel, increasing customer satisfaction and raising awareness of the American Pipe brand through marketing initiatives.
Before coming to American Pipe & Supply, Howe filled various executive roles for Staples North American Delivery Division. He began as a divisional vice-president before being promoted to division president and later regional vice president.
Howe managed operations for three different regions during his time at Staples. Also, he has specialized in improving supply chain efficiencies, developing future leaders, and strategic sales management.
