To satisfy the demand for accurate, reliable, up-to-date information on hydronic and radiant floor heating, hydronic heating equipment manufacturers have formed the Hydronics Industry Alliance. It is a coalition of 22 companies, members of the Hydronics Institute Division of the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association, to increase consumer and industry awareness of the latest technological advances in hydronic heating.

The new group will be chaired by Richard Simons, director of residential combustion controls at Honeywell International. A new Web site - www.myhomeheating.com - will be launched this fall and include basic educational information about hydronic heating for homeowners, architects/engineers, and building and heating contractors.

The site will also have up-to-date information on the benefits and applications of hydronic heating, case studies, details on I=B=R schools for equipment installation training, a listing of the group's members and links to their Web sites, as well as tips on new profit opportunities for contractors, builders and remodelers.
