Alliance Group, LLC, a NexCore partner, announced the successful tuck-in acquisition of Nolin Control Systems, LLC (“Nolin Control”). This strategic partnership represents an important step in Alliance’s growth strategy and expands the company’s controls service offerings. Alliance is a partner company of NexCore, a commercial HVAC platform with operations in Vermont, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. NexCore is backed by Dallas-based private equity firm, Trinity Hunt Partners.

Nolin Control Systems is headquartered in Georgia, Vermont and is an automation controls provider with a focus on factory programming and supplying UL panels. The Company serves a diverse base of industrial customers, with an emphasis on the food & beverage market. Nolin has built customer relationships in the region, supported by offering niche, complex automation services.

Matt Nolin, Founder of Nolin Control Systems, will remain with the business and continue to lead day-to-day operations under Alliance’s ownership, ensuring continuity for employees and customers while helping drive the next phase of growth.

Tyler Johnson, President of Alliance, commented, “We are excited to welcome Matt and the Nolin Control team to the Alliance family. Matt has built an outstanding reputation in the Vermont market, backed by deep customer relationships that surround the service-oriented nature of the business. This partnership allows us to broaden our controls service offering while bringing additional resources, technology, and support to Nolin Control’s customers and employees.”

Matt Nolin added, “Partnering with Alliance and NexCore positions Nolin Control for its next chapter of growth. We are excited to continue providing service under Alliance’s operational support, expanded purchasing power, and shared commitment. We are confident that we can continue to grow while maintaining the high quality of service and customer-centric culture that has made us successful to date.”

Steve Knowles, CEO of NexCore, commented, “Nolin Control Systems strongly represents the criteria that fits NexCore’s long-term platform strategy. Their steady reoccurring revenue base, attractive margins, and deep customer relationships make them an ideal partner for Alliance.”

As part of the integration, Nolin Control will leverage Alliance’s established infrastructure, including recruiting support, expanded technical resources, enhanced IT systems, and broader purchasing capabilities. Customers can expect a seamless transition, with continuity in day-to-day operations and the same trusted engineers, technicians, and service teams they rely on today.

By expanding further into the factory automation and controls industries, Alliance broadens its service offering and customer base while creating additional opportunities for industrial customers.
