Every year, Plumbing & Mechanical’s Top 20 Products list serves as a real-time snapshot of what’s capturing the industry’s attention—based on what readers are actively clicking, researching, and bookmarking for later. Because this feature is driven by website pageviews, it reflects the questions contractors, engineers and facility teams are asking right now: What technologies are ready for the jobsite? What products will help me work faster, safer and smarter? And what solutions are best positioned for the next wave of codes, specs and customer expectations?

This year’s most obvious throughline is electrification and high-efficiency heating and hot water, especially heat pumps and hybrid systems, showing up again and again across the rankings. Just as telling: manufacturers are pairing efficiency with practicality; retrofit-friendly footprints, cold-climate performance, and refrigerant transitions designed to meet the industry’s lower-GWP reality.

A second theme running through the list is jobsite productivity and risk reduction. Tools and connection technologies are built to minimize rework and make installation more repeatable, plus smart monitoring that helps teams catch problems earlier. From press solutions with clear visual confirmation and safeguards against unpressed connections to platforms and devices focused on real-time water visibility, alerts, and disinfection confidence, the industry’s priorities are converging around speed, verification, and system intelligence.

In today’s technology-heavy plumbing and mechanical industry, “must-see” products aren’t just shiny new equipment, they’re solutions that help solve today’s labor constraints, reduce callbacks, and keep buildings running with fewer surprises. Based on website pageviews on www/pmmag.com, find the Top 20 Most-Viewed Products from 2025 below.

Sioux Chief water closet carrier

20

Sioux Chief introduced a water closet carrier featuring a PVC waste fitting. This new carrier has been engineered with modular leg-support gussets, which allows the fixture to provide solid installations without the need for a rear anchor in applications up to 500 pounds. PVC fittings make the carriers easier to ship, handle, prefab and install. Additionally, PVC material makes the fittings corrosion-resistant and impervious to sewer gases. Other features of this new system include a solvent weld hub for the vent connection, a compact faceplate and new coupling design with integral gasket seal. Image courtesy of Sioux Chief

Milwaukee Tool steel pipe cutter and cutting blade

18

Milwaukee Tool introduced the M18 Fuel half-inch to one-inch Steel Pipe Cutter and half-inch to one-inch Steel Pipe Cutting Blade. The steel pipe cutter is optimized for residential service plumbing and mechanical contractors. When paired with the solutions' foldable cut fence, the steel pipe cutter delivers clean cuts. It provides controlled cuts on both installed and new pipes. For installed pipes, the solution’s linear blade actuation ensures square cuts, minimizing alignment challenges introduced by multi-purpose cutting tools. An integrated positive stop further mitigates the risk of overcuts in tight spaces. For new pipes, the foldable cut fence allows one-handed perpendicular alignment, enabling square cuts without the need for a pipe vise. The M18 Fuel Steel Pipe Cutter is exclusively compatible with the M18 Fuel Steel Pipe Cutting Blade. The blade’s tungsten carbide teeth make up to 200 cuts per blade. The steel pipe cutter is fully compatible with the entire M18 line. Image courtesy of Milwaukee Tool

QuickFitting press fittings

13

QuickFitting has launched a newline of press fittings that provide visual confirmation of a pressed connection. SurePress takes indication to a new level, providing a clear and obvious change between an unpressed and pressed connection, the company says. With its patented design, which includes four to six indication windows depending on the size of the fitting, SurePress indication windows are engineered to be visible from any angle, no matter which orientation the fitting is placed on the pipe. Once the fitting is pressed, green indication fills the windows to confirm a successful press that is visible from five feet away. Image courtesy of Quickfitting
