SJE, Inc. announced the acquisition of AMI Global from Cimbria Capital. With the combined capabilities, SJE expects to accelerate the delivery of advanced cloud connected opportunities and offer its customers a comprehensive platform of remote monitoring solutions. The AMI global acquisition represents SJE’s sixth since 2021 and first in 2025.

AMI’s CEO, Henrik Laursen remarked that he sees similar strengths and benefits for the AMI customers’ experience through SJE’s products and services.  Laursen said, “The AMI Global team is excited to partner with SJE and believes this will enhance SJE and AMI customers with a streamlined suite of remote monitoring products and IIoT solutions.”

As part of the acquisition, SJE has established a new Cloud Connected Solutions division, which will be led by Henrik Laursen. The new division will enable SJE and AMI customers to experience the same support while continuing to diversify our company portfolio and broaden our capabilities in key markets. AMI Global will be further strengthened by SJE’s technical expertise and in-house manufacturing capabilities.
