How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?
Been in the Plumbing industry for approximately 10 years
What drew you into the industry?
I worked in irrigation, farming and construction prior, and I saw value in plumbing as a homeowner and wanted to learn the industry. I was drawn to plumbing because I was able to solve problem and find a solution for customers with a need. Usually an emergency.
What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?
The most rewarding aspect of plumbing is to be able to provide a service to someone in an emergency situation. Either no water to the house, mainline backed up where they can't use the toilets or shower, or provide safe drinking and bathing water with filtration
What motivates you every day?
What motivates me every day is the Lord. I lean on God each and every day to help my serve those in my community and surrounding communities.
What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?
I wish more people knew that plumbers don’t just plunge toilets.
What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?
I rescued a Guinea pig from an abandoned sewer line for this little girl. She was so sad when it crawled in. I ran my camera to locate exactly where he was at, cut the pipe on the other side of him, used a carrot to draw him out and return him to the girl. His name was Maui.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
One thing most people don't know is I played baseball through college, couldn't make a career out of it, but over time figured out a trade and became a plumber.
