Meriton has expanded into New Mexico and El Paso, Texas, with the acquisition of Engineered Equipment Sales and Testing, Inc. (EEST). The integration is being led by MPSW, a Meriton affiliate.

With the addition of EEST, Meriton now operates in 24 states with 15 affiliate companies, reinforcing its regionally led growth strategy focused on strong local leadership, long-term partnerships and technical expertise.

The acquisition strengthens Meriton’s footprint in the Southwest and enables MPSW to bring new product lines - including Johnson Controls, York and Armstrong - to customers across New Mexico and West Texas. To support this growth, EEST team members will join existing MPSW staff in a new, larger Albuquerque office that will serve as a central hub for operations, customer service and expanded capabilities. MPSW is also growing its sales presence in El Paso and will open a dedicated office location to serve customers in El Paso and West Texas.

“EEST is exactly the kind of company we look for - technically sharp, locally trusted and rooted in a people-first culture,” said Jerry Braun, CEO of Meriton. “Their reputation for solving complex HVAC challenges with accuracy and care makes them a perfect fit. With MPSW leading the integration, we’re accelerating growth while honoring the strength of our regional teams.”

MPSW, which joined Meriton in 2022, serves Arizona and surrounding states, and brings decades of experience in leading successful HVAC integrations. Its role in this transition reflects Meriton’s commitment to empowering local teams to drive sustainable, scalable growth.

As part of Meriton, the EEST team will gain access to expanded shared services in accounting and finance, human resources, IT, safety, training and development and marketing. These resources will enable greater efficiency while allowing the local team to continue delivering results for customers.

This milestone comes at a pivotal time for the HVAC industry, with rising demand for energy-efficient, engineered solutions and trusted service partners. Meriton’s model prioritizes people, culture and collaboration, and is built to meet this demand with both local insight and national scale.
