“I've had the pleasure of working with Marlin for 18 years at Haller; for the first 12 years I worked with him in the field, and for the past six years I have been his manager. Marlin diagnoses plumbing issues, quotes repairs and completes repair work. As a team leader, he provides members of the plumbing team with technical support and answers any process or policy questions they may have. I am nominating Marlin because he lives all of Haller's values — excellence, integrity, innovation, teamwork, safety, empowerment and customer focus — everyday. Integrity has always been a value at Haller, and Marlin's passion for this rule has led to the service department nicknaming it, 'Marlin's Law.' Marlin’s thoughts: “When I applied for a job [at Haller Enterprises], I wasn’t looking for a career, but I’ve been here 32 years now. I found that I love problem solving, and that is one thing I get to do in doing service work. I also like helping people. I love the fact I get to do something different every day. It’s not mundane or boring in any way. I’m constantly running into different stuff I’ve never seen before. I’m not sure why or how [being named Plumber of the Month] happened, but it’s quite the honor. I think it’s awesome.”
