With the addition of the Bernzomatic investment, the PHCC Foundation plans to award 80 scholarships in 2026, with funding of up to $200,000 available to award winners.

Adapted from PHCC Academy’s online curriculum, the HVAC and plumbing pre-apprenticeship courses could help address the state’s technician shortage where possible by equipping inmates with the necessary skills before they return to the community.

During the four-day course, held March 4–7 at Milwaukee Tool’s headquarters in Brookfield, Wisconsin, participants explored how careful analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail can help project managers identify issues early, make better decisions, and keep projects on track.

PHCC Educational Association licensed ServiceSkills courses – short, focused lessons with interactive video training with real-world applications. Promoting self-paced learning, the courses can be viewed at the participant’s convenience and even accessed on-the-go, on smartphones and tablets.

This year's winners include 43 apprentices and trade school students, as well as 23 college students.
