This month, PM Engineer honors our second annual class of Next Gen All Stars. Meet the individuals 40 years old or younger that bring optimism, new skills and a hunger for success to the plumbing industry.

You may be interested to know that 2023 is noteworthy for more than hot weather. This year is an exceptionally active year for regulations in the United States.

Multiple boiler systems have been used for decades. They allow full heating capacity to be delivered when necessary, while also retaining high efficiency under partial load conditions compared to a single large boiler.

As more and more cities and states seek to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, it’s clear that regulatory activity is clearly driving the push to electrification and decarbonization.

With people in our industry moving around, it is not uncommon to run into plumbing contractors and installers that are not well-versed with the code for the state in which they just moved to.

Regardless of our position in an organization or profession, we all have obligations and responsibilities to the career that we have chosen.

We should discuss an important deadline coming up early next month. It's the compliance date for third-party certification or self-certification, also known as "lead-free certified".
