While
overall housing market conditions continue to create a drag on remodeling
growth, the growing trend among home owners to remain in their homes and
remodel has provided a boost to the remodeling market.
Green
homes comprised 17% of the overall residential construction market in 2011 and
are expected to grow to between 29% and 38% of the market by 2016, according to
a Green Home Builders and Remodelers Study by McGraw-Hill Construction.
The
recall involves Coleman, Coleman Evcon and Red T brand furnaces sold nationwide
between 1995 and 2000 as original equipment in manufactured homes and as
replacement furnaces in manufactured homes (originally recalled November 2004).
The ACCA Educational Institute Standards Task Team announced that ANSI
has recognized ACCA 12 QH-2011 Existing Homes Evaluation and Performance
Improvement standard.
