criteria for HVAC companies to be Accredited Contractors
reflecting their specialized training and work experience.
The Building Performance Institute, which develops technical standards for residential energy-efficiency retrofit work, has established eligibility criteria for HVAC companies to achieve BPI Accredited Contractor status that reflects their specialized training and work experience. This criteria draws upon the independent certification program administered by North American Technician Excellence or the National Oilheat Research Alliance's training and independent certification program.
