The two-day conference, hosted in conjunction with the Petroleum Marketers Association of America, will be held at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center, Framingham, Mass.



The New England Fuel Institute is regenerating its highly successful Visions Conference with essential business education topics and an agenda designed to stimulate success in an ever-changing business environment for independent fuel marketers. 

The two-day conference, hosted in conjunction with the Petroleum Marketers Association of America, will be held June 5-6, 2012, at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center, Framingham, Mass. The Sheraton Conference Center is located just west of Boston with immediate access from the Massachusetts Turnpike and convenient for travel from all major highways.

The NEFI Annual Meeting will be scheduled for June 4, along with other anticipated industry events.

Pivotal topics are being scheduled for small group concentrations and include: fuel products diversification; broader home services entry points; social media; hedging fuel purchases into the oncoming season; traditional advertising and marketing modes; trends in ecommerce and customer habits; and buying and selling companies within the current business framework.

A keynote speaker is being scheduled and will be announced. The Visions Conference committee includes industry executivesCraig Snyder, Wesson Energy, Conn.;Sam Gault, Gault Energy, Conn.;Donald Craft, Gulf Oil; andJim Townsend, Townsend Oil & Propane, Mass.

In addition to focused business sessions, NEFI will host a “Legends” reception and dinner at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel the evening of June 5 to recognize industry professionals and executives who have provided outstanding service on behalf of the independent oilheat and fuel industry.

Conference fees will be scaled to provide a discount for companies that enroll more than one participant.
