As part of Lochinvar Corp.’s updated VIP Contractor Program, those who submit information and pictures of their recent KNIGHT boiler installations have a chance to win a $250 gift card to Cabela’s or Bass Pro Shops.

One winner is selected each month by a panel of Lochinvar judges, and the most impressive project of the heating season will award one grand-prize winner the choice between a floor-standing KNIGHT KBN080 boiler, a wall-mount KNIGHT WBN080 boiler or a Dell laptop computer equipped with KNIGHT Boiler SMART SYSTEM PC software.

The following VIP Contractors - having been chosen as monthly winners for November, December and January - are in the running for the grand prize:

November 2007 Winner "

A KBN399 with hydro air, radiant floor heat, DHW and Unico chiller system.

December 2007 Winner "

The job was an addition of 960 square feet to an existing snowmelt system. It required removal of an existing Lochinvar boiler, which left a footprint of approximately 7' X 4'5". The existing boiler had to be dismantled completely to fit through the existing doorway. The new boilers were easily fit through the existing doorway, and because of their compact design they fit the required footprint. The system now has four KBN500 boilers that look like they were part of the original mechanical room installation. 

January 2008 Winner "

This residence will now be home to a Knight WBN80 wall-hung boiler. The completely remodeled home now has one zone of floor-warming in the kitchen, one zone of radiant heat in the garage, and a new snowmelt system, which includes the driveway and entry. DHW via an indirect will keep the WBN80 busy as well.

As in previous years, VIP Contractors with the highest KNIGHT sales will be awarded Lochinvar’s Nashville Experience; not only will six top-selling VIP Contractors and their guests enjoy an all-expense-paid trip to Nashville for the Nationwide Series Race June 7, but six additional winners will be given the same VIP treatment July 12 for the Indy Car Race. Both events will be held at the Nashville Speedway.
