Members can see what state and federal legislation ACCA is tracking.

Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), the nation's largest association of indoor environmental systems professionals, has launched two new webpages onwww.acca.orgthat will help members see what state and federal legislation ACCA is tracking. These webpages are the newestmembers-onlybenefits to be created by the association.

Thestate legislation tracking pageallows ACCA members to click on their state on a map and see and review all active legislation that could affect their businesses and the industry.

Thefederal legislation tracking pageallows members to follow legislation that Congress is currently voting on or debating. This page has the legislation broken into categories, so that members can easily review the legislation they are looking to find more information about. For example, you can select legislation on building codes, healthcare reform and employee rights, among others.

“This exciting and versatile new resource enables ACCA to pinpoint and monitor the bills and amendments in state legislatures and the federal government that could affect our members,” saidPaul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president & CEO. “This not only helps ACCA track the legislation, but it also gives our members an easy way to be proactive about monitoring legislation and contacting their state, local, and national representatives about issues that could change the way they do business.”

The pages, both of which are powered by CQ Roll Call, require ACCA members to log into their ACCA accounts to access the information.
