Interline Brands, partners donate more than $50,000 in products to Habitat for Humanity
Products donated include hundreds of faucets, plumbing fittings, bathroom fixtures, HVAC materials, etc.
With 200 vendor partners, distributor Interline Brands announced it donated more than $50,000 in products to Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Fla. The announcement came after Interline held its Annual Partners Conference August 22-24 in Orlando and marks the fifth straight year Interline has given products and to a charitable organization.
Products donated include hundreds of faucets, plumbing fittings, bathroom fixtures, HVAC materials, tools, appliances, cleaning supplies and light fixtures. The products will be sold at the HabiJax ReStore, a retail outlet where new and refurbished home products are sold to the public. Proceeds from the ReStore help the funding for HabiJax to build and renovate housing for low income families in the Jacksonville area.

Jacksonville to help revitalize affordable housing in the city of
Jacksonville,” said Anthony
Scott, Interline Brands’ vice president of merchandising. “We’re
also excited that 200 of our valued suppliers contributed products that will be
sold at the ReStore to raise funds that will enrich the lives of people in Jacksonville for years to
come. We thank our suppliers for their generosity and shared commitment to
Habitat for Humanity.”
HabiJax has assisted more than 2,000 Jacksonville-area families become homeowners. The group focuses on the urban center of Jacksonville.
“We are thankful for our continued partnership with Interline Brands and we are thrilled to have received over $50,000 in products from Interline Brands for our ReStore in Jacksonville,” HabiJax CEO Mary Kay O’Rourke said. “The money raised from the sale of these items will help us to effectively respond to the overwhelming need for affordable housing in the Jacksonville community. Since 2010, Interline Brands and its partners have contributed more than $125,000 in products to HabiJax.”
