Benjamin Franklin Plumbingannounced today thatKeresa Richardsonhas been selected to serve a second consecutive term as its president. Richardson was re-elected by Benjamin Franklin franchise owners from across the United States following a competitive election process. Her second term will begin in January 2012.

“It’s truly an honor for my fellow franchise owners to have chosen me to serve in this role for another term,” Richardson said. “I have enjoyed my time as brand president, and I’m proud of the things we’ve accomplished.”

Richardson and her husband,J.R., were among the pioneers of Benjamin Franklin franchisees. They started their business in 2000 with zero employees, zero customers and zero trucks; today, they have several locations throughout Texas, employing 58 and generating more than $10 million in sales. Richardson also has been a keynote speaker at several events, discussing topics ranging from marketing to women in the plumbing industry.
