Fergusonof Southern California is launching a complete line of solar hot water products for both residential and commercial applications through its cooperation withHeliodyne Inc., a U.S. SHW manufacturer.

“Installing a solar water heating system is not complicated at all but does require basic plumbing skills. As a result, plumbers find solar hot water system installation a fairly easy skill to pick up,” according toOle Pilgaard, president of Heliodyne.

Ferguson will carry all the necessary components that make up a solar hot water system, as well as pre-packaged “off the shelf” systems. These pre-packaged systems are a convenient alternative for trade professionals that want “a simpler method of installing a system,” says Pilgaard, making them more of a plug-in-play process.

Ferguson will offer an intro training session April 15 and 16 at its Pomona location. Heliodyne will bring mock-ups, tanks and heating appliances for demonstration. For more information on attending, contact Ferguson at 909/613-1079 or email Angelica Rodriguez atangelica.rodriguez@ferguson.com.
