Chicago Faucets' ECAST Line Meets California Lead-Free Standards
October 1, 2008
In response to California Assembly Bill 1953,
which establishes new lead content levels for faucets, pipes and plumbing
fittings, Chicago Faucets introduced its ECAST line. It provides a complete
offering of durable, high-quality brass faucets and fixtures - including
deck-mounted and wall-mounted faucets, metering faucets, stop valves, specialty
fittings and bubblers. The line was developed specifically to meet the AB 1953
standard, which requires that faucets intended to dispense water for human
consumption must not exceed a total weighted average of 0.25 percent maximum
lead content.
