Apollo Valves is now offering a new series of pressure vacuum breakers (PVBs) featuring a unique modular check valve design. Designated the PVB 4A Series, the new PVBs save time and money in irrigation system applications. It is part of a new backflow preventer family from Apollo that also includes DC 4A double check assemblies and RP 4A reduced pressure principle assemblies.

All three new series are built around a self-contained “captured spring” check module that is easily removable for maintenance or replacement. The new modular checks allow for a more compact body design, which reduces costs. The checks are also interchangeable in the same sizes between all three valves in the 4A Series family. This simplifies repair operations and helps contractors reduce parts inventory.
