EMCOR Group announced the
promotion of R. Kevin Matz to executive vice
president, shared services. He was most recently senior vice president, shared
services, and was also previously vice president and treasurer of EMCOR. Prior
to his employment with EMCOR, he was treasurer of Sprague Technologies Inc., an
international manufacturer of electrical components and
semi-conductors.
Jessica Johnson Bennett joined the
Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association
in late December 2007 as director of government relations. Prior to
her joining PHCC, she served for
three years as a senior consultant for the international management and
technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, served in the Public Policy
Department at the American Farm Bureau Federation and worked for two members of
Congress. Most recently she
was director of government affairs for the Mason Contractors of America, which
shares several topics of concern with PHCC.
The Carbon Monoxide Safety
Association announced that former Bacharach training team members
Bob Dwyer, Ken
Kimball and Erik Rasmussen have
joined the COSA team.
These “Certified Subject Matter Educators” will offer
training in the areas of carbon monoxide safety and combustion
analysis. In addition, they will expand their offerings to include green
awareness, R-410a and fuel pipe sizing. Certifications are available to
successful attendees of the training and COSA offers test instrument
calibration.
