New hires and promotions in the industry.

Ahern Fire Protection, a division of J.F. Ahern Co., named Mark Griel to estimator/ project manager. He joined the company in 2003 as a designer with the Milwaukee office.

Nexstar named Scott Pearson to the newly created position of new member development coach. He will be devoted solely to coaching first-year members. Replacing Pearson in Nexstar's preferred vendor partnership program is Susan Tigner as strategic partner manager.

The National Kitchen & Bath Association announced the addition of Edward Pell to its national headquarters staff as manager of market research. He will explore and quantify research opportunities on a variety of projects to forecast trends and economic impact on the industry.
