Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric, Denver, recently received an ethics award from the local Rotary Club.

“We set a high standard of ethics beginning with the hiring process, customer service and business development,” said John Ward, owner of Applewood at the ceremony May 18. “After all the hard work and training that our technicians go through, it is an honor to be recognized. ‘Better. Cleaner. Faster.’ is our motto and our customers notice the difference, sending us hundreds of customer satisfaction reviews each month.”

The Rotary Club of Golden, Colo., sent out more than 1,600 invitations to various companies throughout Colorado. Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric was selected from a group of 20 to receive the 2007 award.

Professors and students from the Colorado School of Mines judged and selected the award entries. Each entry was evaluated on environmental record, employee relations, community involvement and customer service.
