Comfort Systems USA announced that Norman C. Chambers is resigning as president, chief operating officer and director to accept a senior position in a different industry, effective April 30, 2004. Bill Murdy will assume the president and COO roles, in addition to his duties as chairman and chief executive officer, for the present.

In other news, the company reported increased revenues of $193.22 million for the first quarter of 2004, compared to $179.66 million in 2003. Income for the quarter was $1.04 million, compared to a net loss of $4.82 million in 2003's first quarter.
