The Labor Department's Employee and Training Administration announced it will award nearly $5 million in grants to develop and implement programs addressing the language and job-training needs of workers with limited skills in English. The grants will help ensure workers have the opportunity to learn English and gain access to employment and training programs to pursue careers in high-growth industries.
