DOL Awards Grants To Improve English In The Workplace

The Labor Department recently awarded five grants totaling more than $4.9 million to improve English-language skills in the workplace. The grants will train about 4,400 people in California, Minnesota, Nebraska, New York and Texas. A few of these grants are geared toward the construction industry.
