The American Society of Association Executives presented the Mechanical Contractors Association of America with its 2000 Award of Excellence in Education Certificate, which will be showcased at the Management and Technology 2000 Conference in Washington, D.C., from Dec. 10-12. The program launched in January 2000 with the agenda of bringing project management courses to MCAA-affiliated organizations throughout the country.
The change of venue targets members who can't make it to MCAA's usual educational forums. Instructors at university-level rank teach a spectrum of courses ranging from Fundamentals of Project Management to Advanced Supervisory Education. Other courses can be custom designed.
