Richard E.(Dick) Posey has been appointed President and CEO of Moen Inc., effective January 15, 2002.

Richard E.(Dick) Posey has been appointed President and CEO of Moen Inc., effective Jan. 15, 2002. The appointment was made by Fortune Brands Home & Hardware President & CEO, Bruce A. Carbonari.

Posey joins Moen from Hamilton Beach/Proctor Silex Inc., where he most recently was President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to his tenure there, he spent more than 20 years in various capacities of increased responsibility with S.C. Johnson and Son Inc., rising to the position of Executive Vice President, Consumer Products, North America.

In his new capacity, Posey will have total responsibility for all of the Moen business units.

In other Moen news, the company also signed a license agreement with Kolorfusion International to use Kolorfusion's patented three-dimensional product decoration process for use on faucet and bath products. The technology transfers any design with any colors into a product's coating or directly into the plastic or aluminum part itself, no matter the shape.
