In-Sink-Erator Addresses 'Garbage Disposal' Myths
Most American homeowners have what they call a "garbage disposal," instead of the more accurate and proper term, "food waste disposer." In-Sink-Erator revamped its Web site to correct misconceptions like this and answer any questions consumers may have about the company's disposers, instant hot water dispensers and other products.
In-Sink-Erator's Web site, www.insinkerator.com, has added features and a more customer-friendly look. The site has a selection guide and lists plumbing contractors who are members of the company's Pro Circle program. It also includes a troubleshooting guide, a "Disposer Do's And Don't's" page, in-home service warranty information, a warranty calculator and a download center to access brochures.
