The significant factor affecting second-quarter results is slowing sales in the company's Roto-Rooter segment, largely attributable to a progressive softening demand for both commercial and residential repair plumbing services. This slowdown, has continued into the second quarter. Second quarter sales for Roto-Rooter are now expected to be below prior year sales by 3 percent.
