Truck of the Month: Armbrust Plumbing
For over a century, Illinois-based Armbrust Plumbing has served their community like a knight serves a kingdom.

You know the saying, "the best thing since sliced bread?" Fun fact: sliced bread was invented in on July 7th, 1928. The company that we're talking about today has been around even longer!
Armbrust Plumbing was founded in 1918. Clarence Armbrust, the current owner's great-grandfather, "had a thirst for entrepreneurship and a hunger for public service. Clarence took his skills and put them to use in 1918, providing a much-needed service to his friends and community." Ever since then, the company has remained in the Armbrust family for an incredible five generations. "The family owned, family operated [business] expanded its offering under 5 generations of leadership, without ever losing sight of its vital role in supporting the communities it serves."
The Armbrust Plumbing team recently had a redesign of their fleet of 18 trucks, with the help of Lemon Seed Marketing. Featuring bright blue and green, partnered with an elegant navy blue, the real star of the truck is the knight. "The centurion knight represents how we've been serving our community for over a century (100+ years). The knight represents strength and stability, but being illustrated in unique blue colors makes him appear more modern and approachable.
"The hilt of the knight's sword is a wrench, representing how they will fight and battle to solve and of the homeowner's plumbing or HVAC issues," Emily Fleniken of Lemon Seed Marketing told Plumbing & Mechanical.
The Armbrust Plumbing team echoed that sentiment. "The image of the knight and simplicity of the design speaks to the core of our company. Like a knight, we see it as our duty and obligation to serve and protect our community. We do so in a very straightforward, direct way. Our business practices are free of hype and clutter; the trucks reflect that symbolically."
The company has received positive feedback on the redesign. "Both new and existing customers pointed out how bold and clean the truck wraps are. 'They really stand out!'"
It's hard to miss such an eye-catching design, and that's exactly what a great fleet wrap should do. But, beyond the bold colors and striking knight, the trucks represent something much bigger: more than 100 years of service, five generations of family ownership and a promise to continue protecting the communities they serve for years to come.
