Legend Valve’s HyperPure PE-RT potable water tubing aims to provide durability, installation efficiency and water quality protection. Manufactured with a HyperTherm bimodal PE-RT resin, the tubing features a molecular structure with a rating of 100 PSI at 180°F. It also carries a CL-5 rating for chlorine resistance. HyperPure combines rigidity and flexibility, allowing it to uncoil easily, hold its position during installation and bend at a radius of five times its outside diameter. Five-foot increment markings help reduce material waste. The tubing is compatible with cold expansion rings, copper crimp rings, stainless steel cinch clamps, insert fittings, push-fit fittings and fusion fittings.

The tubing is manufactured without chemical cross-linking or performance-altering additives and complies with HDPE Code 2 guidelines. Its additive-free composition eliminates concerns about off-gassing, plastic taste and line flushing while supporting potable water quality. HyperPure is also fully recyclable. Designed for standard potable water applications, HyperPure PE-RT is accepted under National and International Plumbing Codes, meets the same performance standards as PEX and is third-party certified for potable water use.
