Best in Class Technology Services, LLC (BCTS) announced that Modern Niagara Building Services (MNBS) has entered into a definitive agreement to join BCTS, with the transaction expected to close in Q1 2026. After transaction close, MNBS will operate as a division of BCTS, creating a comprehensive North American platform. As part of this partnership, Modern Niagara the parent company of MNBS, will become one of BCTS's largest shareholders.

MNBS is the service division of Modern Niagara, one of Canada's largest HVAC construction companies. MNBS has built a reputation in HVAC maintenance and repairs, retrofit projects, plumbing, electrical, controls, fuel oil and other services across five major Canadian markets: Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.

“Modern Niagara’s outstanding reputation, skilled workforce, and established market leadership make them an ideal partner for BCTS. This strategic partnership creates a powerful North American platform where we can combine our proven U.S. market experience with MNBS's Canadian expertise to better serve customers across the continent.” Eric Reisner, CEO, BCTS.

“Eric and the BCTS team have demonstrated an exceptional ability to scale a national, market-leading HVAC service organization while maintaining local culture and expertise. We're excited to be part of Eric's vision for creating the premier North American industrial and commercial services platform, knowing that our team and customers will benefit from his proven approach to strategic growth.” Shaun Robertson, President, MNBS.

“This transaction strengthens both organizations, and we see meaningful opportunity ahead. As part of this partnership, Modern Niagara will become one of BCTS’s largest shareholders. This is a reflection of our confidence in MNBS’s future and in the long-term potential of this combined North American platform. MNBS will join a team deeply committed to service excellence, while Modern Niagara advances our long-term strategy to grow and lead in the construction and mega-project space.” Brad McAninch, CEO, Modern Niagara.

“We are proud to welcome Modern Niagara Building Services to the BCTS team. Their expertise, reputation, and shared commitment to excellence reinforce our collective ability to serve customers with unmatched quality and scale across North America.” Amit Gaind, Senior Managing Director, Investcorp, and BCTS Board Member

The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
