Kyndryl, an IT infrastructure services provider, announced an agreement with NIBCO, a fifth-generation, family-owned business and industry-leading provider of flow control solutions, to increase productivity and connectivity across its workforce by implementing network technology and digital workplace services.
In 2023, NIBCO announced plans to grow its market share by acquiring Matco-Norca. NIBCO turned to Kyndryl to transform its current operations in support of its continued expansion as one of the nation’s leading providers of flow-control products and systems. Kyndryl's work with NIBCO will enable the company to efficiently scale operations as it expands by helping ensure that new employees have the right devices and network connectivity they need, without impacting service to existing employees. With the help of Kyndryl Consult, NIBCO will also map out additional technology and business solutions that help increase efficiencies for employees and drive cost-savings for the business.
“People are at the heart of all we do at NIBCO,” said Cody Huffines, vice president and chief information officer, NIBCO. “To continue our growth trajectory, we must first ensure that our workforce across the country is equipped with the right tools. We’ve chosen Kyndryl to help us do just that.”
As part of this workplace transformation project, Kyndryl will bring enhanced network capabilities to 23 NIBCO locations to provide a faster and stronger wireless network while expediting incident response times. Kyndryl will manage NIBCO’s employee device support program, which provides end-to-end technical support for more than 1,000 devices that play an essential role in the company’s operations.
Employees will have access to faster, more reliable IT assistance to solve any issues with their digital workstations, and Kyndryl will also help automate and optimize predictive measures, such as software and hardware updates — freeing up valuable time for employees to focus on their roles.
“We focus on solving the diverse array of challenges that each of our customers faces. Recognizing that no two hurdles are alike, our team targets the right combination of technology and expertise to address these individual needs,” said Amy Salcido, president, Kyndryl U.S. “We’re proud to support NIBCO as they grow, and to contribute to their success by preparing their workforce for expansion. Now NIBCO can confidently step into new markets and expand the reach of their innovative products, knowing their team is ready to navigate and capitalize on new opportunities.”
