The second day of the ISH China show at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing started a little slower than Day 1.

I finally made it across the Pacific Ocean for my first trip to China.

And we are off.

New Grundfos President and CEO Mads Nipper is ready to construct a new era at the Danish company.

A corporate team from Newport News Shipbuilding, builders of some of the U.S. Navy’s major aircraft carriers and submarines toured the plant.

After walking the Greenbuild 2013 exhibitor hall Nov. 20-21, it became evident that major manufacturers did not pack as many new products or technologies for the Philadelphia incarnation of the premier sustainable building trade show.

During the 2013 AHR Expo in Dallas, the trade show’s leaders distributed a survey to its 55,000 attendees. The results were a tad surprising coming out of the industry’s premier HVACR event. Nearly 18% of attendees say they are interested in plumbing products and technologies. The show’s organizers and exhibiting companies have responded in earnest to those results.

Day two of Greenbuild was when the stars came out to shine.
