'Fiscal cliff' legislation retroactively reinstates the 25C tax credits for
highly efficient HVAC and water heating equipment that expired at the end of
2011.
A hydronic system is to be designed to supply four
panel radiators, each with its own thermostatic radiator valve, and an indirect
water heater from a gas-fired sectional cast-iron boiler.
Cleaner-burning
wood pellets are produced from waste products such as lumber mill sawdust, and chips
or scraps left over from lumbering or tree thinning.
An installer is asked to build a system to
supply both radiant floor heating and a “hydro-air” zone. All heat will be
supplied from a gas-fired cast-iron boiler.
