One of the “delights” of designing hydronic systems is looking for synergistic opportunities, where one device provides multiple functions or benefits that would otherwise require two or more separate devices.

Milestones include one billion installations worldwide, including contributions to Eiffel Tower, Hoover Dam and other historic projects. 

The additions include forged bronze vent elbows, a wrot copper extended elbow and a wrot copper fin tube stiffener. All of the products are lead free.

The connection technology is designed for use with REHAU RAUPEX crosslinked polyethylene (PEXa) pipe in up to 2” diameter.

The lower pressure drop on the water side contributes to the compact size and the lower pressure on the flue gas side contributes to the longer approved vent lengths (up to 481’).

The inaugural event is scheduled for April 30-May 2, in Rosemont, Illinois, and will showcase the latest design and building processes, products and emerging technologies.
