Commercial plumbing manufacturer Sloan recently announced the promotion of industry veteran John Aykroyd to executive vice president, business development, North America.

U.S. boiler manufacturer ECR International announced Dec. 23 that its shareholders have approved the sale of the company to BDR Thermea, a Dutch heating products group.
The joint venture was established in 2004 as a 50/50 investment between Greenlee and Rothenberger AG, and specialized in plumbing tools for the North American market.
