Bradford White introduces its new residential gas water heater, which is atmospherically vented and utilizes a highly efficient blower to pull air through a tightly restricted baffle system. The baffle system, 2” of non-CFC insulation and the electronic ignition system help the water heater achieve its high Energy Factor rating of .70.

The new model features the ICON System intelligent gas control, the Hydrojet Total Performance System and Vitraglas enamel tank lining. Available in both 40-gal. and 50-gal. models with inputs of 38,000 Btu/hr., they come equipped with Bradford White’s renowned Defender Safety System, the extremely safe, reliable and virtually maintenance-free flammable vapor ignition resistant system.

The new model currently qualifies for the Sept. 1, 2010, minimum Energy Star EF requirement, as well as most utility rebate programs. It also meets the Department of Energy’s future energy conservation standards set to go into effect April 16, 2015.
