Designed to help contractors lead customers through choosing a water heater, it asks eight questions about hot water usage, available space and power sources. It uses proprietary algorithms to provide estimates by incorporating localized information, such as area groundwater temperatures and state energy prices. It then matches those data points to a broad range of water heaters.
