NASP’s Certa-Lok C905/RJ PVC pipe is a nonmetallic, mechanically restrained joint pipe system designed for use in potable and reclaimed water, fire protection and force main sewer systems. Available in cast-iron, outside diameters including 14’’, 16’’, 18’’ and 24’’, the pipe meets all performance requirements of AWWA C905. The pipe provides a restrained joint by utilizing precision-machined grooves on the pipe and in the coupling which, when aligned, allow a spline to be inserted, resulting in a fully circumferential restrained joint that locks the pipe together.
