Some of the hottest industry topics, latest trends and business practices are being discussed at this week's PHCC Connect 2009 in New Orleans.



At its annual convention in New Orleans this week, Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association members are learning how to confidently position their plumbing companies for an economic upturn. Some of the hottest industry topics, latest trends and business management practices are being discussed, and the educational and showcase sessions have seen attendance exceeding organizer expectations.

Some of the show’s highlights include:
  • Keynote speaker Stuart Varney, business and financial journalist for FOX News, talked about “21st Century America: A New Day in Politics, Culture, and Business.”

  • Richard Trethewey of “This Old House” talked about “The Future of Comfort and Efficiency.”

  • Educational seminars were offered on green plumbing, pre-fabrication, residential fire sprinklers, understanding overhead and year-end tax planning.

  • Contractors, manufacturers and others vendors gathered for a full-day Product and Technology Showcase to learn and exchange ideas about products, technologies and advancements in the p-h-c industry.
