Quick Drain USA’s linear slot drain system for showers has become the first product of its kind to be awarded Uniform Plumbing Code listing for the North American marketplace from IAPMO Research and Testing Inc.

IAPMO R&T is a product certification body that tests and inspects samples taken from the supplier’s stock or from the market or a combination of both to verify compliance to the requirements of applicable codes and standards. The UPC listing for Quick Drain USA, file No. 6181 at www.iapmort.org, denotes compliance with all applicable sections of the latest edition of the UPC manual.

Quick Drain USA products will bear the UPC or Canada’s cUPC certification mark on the face of the flange and the face of the strainer.

Quick Drain;s channel drain system is also the first product of its kind to receive PMG listing per ICC-ES. It’s ideal for showers, deck drains, pool drains, public shower trenches and trough drain applications, all with a visible width of just 1 1/2 inches. All Quick Drain USA linear slot drains can be installed over concrete and plywood substrates in compliance with ANSI A118.10.
